From the Womb to the Tomb is a series of 25 drawings derived from online tattoo galleries posted by death metal fans. These images were manipulated with Photoshop to remove the figure and then enlarged into graphite on paper drawings. The distortion of the text is a result of how the tattoo conformed to the contours of the body. Several of these drawings have been reproduced as large-scale on site paintings in various galleries across Canada.
