David Poolman and Roman TkaczykDeaderer is a collaborative exhibition with Roman Tkaczyk. The pieces in this exhibition reference extreme forms of youth rebellion and symbolic violence with a particular emphasis on Death Metal culture. The exhibition includes over 100 feet of site-specific wall painting, a 12x18 foot photographic montage, and two video works.
The exhibition closed with a performance and a live recording of fightwithbears, a high school hardcore band from Georgetown. The forthcoming exhibition catalogue will include an essay by Andrew Hunter and the live recording.
